Bpung.com redesign launched!
Posted on December 30, 2009 at 06:26AM

Today marks the launch of the redesigned bpung.com. The site contains information about myself and the projects that I’ve contributed to, along with this blog. I’d like to thank Matt Huang for advising me on which tools to use in the construction of the site, as well as helping me tweak the design. The site makes use of the following web design tools.

Framework

The site was constructed on top of the Pylons web framework. Pylons is an open source python framework with a good amount of flexibility and power. Popular sites built using the Pylons framework include BitTorrent and Reddit.

Design / Layout

I made use of the Blueprint CSS grid for maintaining a clean layout. The Myriad Pro typeface used in the Overview section of the site was made possible using sIFR. sIFR uses a clever combination of Flash, JavaScript, and CSS that allows developers to embed unique fonts in their websites.

You can let me know your thoughts on the site by sending me a message on twitter @bpung.
