I am an aspiring entrepreneur who hopes to improve people’s quality of life through innovation in the web space. My primary academic interests are Artificial Intelligence and Web Design. I will be graduating from MIT in June, 2010 with a degree in Computer Science.
In the past I have worked on natural-language processing for Mozilla, produced algorithms to conserve energy in disk drives for EMC, developed pattern detection software for SAIC, and built Firefox extensions for the User Interface Design group at MIT. In 2008 I was part of a team that won $5000 in funding from the MIT Ideas Competition with a software prototype for the Nintendo Wii targeted at assisting stroke patient rehabilitation in developing nations.
Next summer I will be moving out to northern California to create a web startup with two fellow MIT students, Matt Huang and Sandy Spicer. More information about the company will be made available once we solidify our plans.
Additional details on my technical background can be found in my Resume.
